Youth Spring Break Camps

  • Beginner
     
    For those who are brand new to rowing. Participants will learn the basic movements of the rowing stroke in sculling boats (single, double, quad). We will teach you about the stroke, oar grip, balance, safety terminology. This is a must for anyone wanting to move into more advanced rowing programs!
     
    Your registration will be activated the Friday before the program start date and you will get an email confirming your registration. You will also be sent an email outlining VCRC's Covid-19 protocols, where to meet etc. 
     
    Intermediate
     

    Continue to build your rowing experience and skills. Learn sequencing, rhythm, timing, and blade work, while continuing to develop balance and teamwork. Sessions are led by certified coaches who create a fun and supportive learning environment.

    Pre-requisite:  Beginner Youth Learn to Row, Youth Summer Camp, or equivalent.

    Fees: $249 (Includes GST and RCA/RBC annual membership fees)

    Dates & Times: 

    Beginner 1: March 21st-March 26th, 10am-12pm

    Beginner 2: March 28th-March 31st, 10am - 12pm

    Intermediate 1: March 28th-March 31st, 1pm-3pm
