In the Lightweight Women’s single VCRC Alumni Trish Mara did a tremendous job in the final sprint passing Jaclyn Stelmaszyk who finish in the silver medal position and Kate Haber who took home the bronze medal.

In the Men’s single Graham Peters rower to a bronze medal “After a slow start of the regatta, Graham did a great job and worked his way up to the podium” commented his coach Isolda Penney after the final.

Alex Gonin and Owen Marcovitz captured the gold medal in the Junior pairs “Windy conditions made the first races challenging but Alex and Owen qualified for the quarterfinals and with some extra focus and attention to making the boat move fast they are now crowned National Champions” said their coach Kristjan Joubert following the regatta.
