VICTORIA CITY ROWING CLUB'S CARL SCHOCH WINS BRONZE AT WORLD ROWING INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

VCRC claims third place at 2018 Erg Sprints on Sunday.

Elk Lake, BC – The Victoria City Rowing Club is proud to announce that Carl Schoch finished in third place at the the Erg Sprints World Rowing Indoor Championships this past weekend in Alexandria, VA.

 

Carl captured the bronze medal in the Veteran C Men’s 2000 metre sprint and finished his race with a time of 6:39.5. He qualified for the championships earlier this month at the University of Victoria’s Monster Erg where he earned a first place finish in the Masters Men C+ event.

Carl competed against 16 other athletes from clubs around the world, including Canada, the United States, Great Britain, and Italy.
