VICTORIA CITY ROWING CLUB'S CARL SCHOCH TO COMPETE AT WORLD ROWING INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Elk Lake, BC – The Victoria City Rowing Club is proud to announce that Carl Schoch will compete at the Erg Sprints World Rowing Indoor Championships this weekend in Alexandria, VA.
Carl will compete in the Veteran C Men’s 2000 metre sprint on Saturday, with the event scheduled to start at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. He qualified for the championships earlier this month at the University of Victoria’s Monster Erg where he earned a first place finish in the Masters Men C+ event.

Last year, after only six months in the sport, Carl earned a bronze medal at the 2017 CRASH-B World Indoor Rowing Championships in Boston, MA. Carl was also named the VCRC Outstanding Male Rower for 2017.
